Atari Arcade is the $60 answer to iCade (review)

by Joe Pollicino

A short time ago ThinkGeek and Iron's iCade was reviewed. The reviewers thought that a $100 dollars was and still is a little pricey for a retro gaming fix. Now Atari has paired up with Discovery Bay Games to create their own iPad arcade adapter. Their arcade adapter is different then the iCade. It does not use bluetooth and does not require batteries. All you do is dock your iPad into its 30-pin connector. The joypad is meant for Atari's Greatest Hits App. Atari Arcade is said to come out in October and it is $40 cheaper then the iCade.
