If you don't know the group Anonymous, then you better start. Anonymous is a group that first originated in 2003 on 4chan. It has members all around the world and are all connected through the internet. In Anonymous, they do international "hacktivism" or hacking and protests against anti- digital piracy as well as recording industry trade associations. They also do many other tasks to get a particular point across or if they think something isn't fair. For example, Anonymous took credit for making the CIA website go down on February 10th, 2012. Now this is a big deal when it comes to the CIA. Anonymous also leaked hundreds of Syrian President Bashar al-Assads office's email. This group did many other things such as leaking private data from Oakland Officials. These are few of the things Anonymous did. In Anonymous, your identity is usually hidden and you are basically "anonymous" and if you research them, they where masks from the movie "Vendetta". There are many reasons why they where the mask but the main reason is to keep their face hidden. So look out for this organization because you will be hearing from them soon.
