The Difference Between 3G and 4G

3G and 4G are both terms for the generation of mobile technology. However, 3G speeds can reach up to 3 Mbps (Megabits per second), with average speeds being closer to 1Mbps or less. On the other hand, 4G average speeds are supposed to be targeted around 100 Mbps. This is approximately 100 times faster than 3G networks. As of right now, Sprint is the only carrier that acctually carries a complete 4G network. Other carriers, such as Verizon and AT&T, say they carry 4G, but they do not have a full network available to their customers.
