Nikon unveils V1 and J1 mirrorless cameras: 10.1MP CMOS, 1080p video, ships in October for $650+ (video)

In midtown Manhattan, Nikon showed a sneak peek of the new V1 and J1 mirrorless cameras. Before the sneak peek, rumors were flying around the web and recent leaks. When the annoucement of these cameras were no longer rumors, people discovered that the company not only had one "1 System" but a pair, the V1 and J1. The V1 and J1 share identical specs. Both cameras have features such as 10.1 megapixel CMOS, a 1200fps slo-mo capture mode, 3in. LCDs, full HD (1080/30p) video capture, and many more! These cameras ship in October for about $650 and up. So we now know there are new toys in town and they are from Nikon.
