Leap's Cricket prepaid service goes national

by: Roger Cheng

Cricket will soon be sold in 1,300 stores around the world. It is hoped that it'll tap into a much wider consumers for afforadable wireless service, but be in competiton with other national players. Leap plans to put out a good service with music and plans low enough to set it self apart from the store. Leap has Two Android phines and Three regular phones planned to come out at Walmart, Dollar General, and the Home Shopping Network. Leap will use internet advertising and social media to let people know but won't tell how much he's willing to spend. Hopefully it goes well and everyone will get to use Cricket!
