Anonymous is the famous protesting group known for hacking major companies and organizations. They protested at the Occupy Wall Street and have also hacked the PlayStation Network. They are an group formed by volunteers on the internet. They are supposedly for free speech and are against internet censorship. A way to become a member is to download the Bot Net allowing them to use your computer to help post and protest making you a member. They are also doing it for another reason that is commonly phrased as "We are doing it for the lulz."
