What's the Difference Between 4G and 3G?

by Liz Patt

3G and 4G are both a method for mobile devices and a generation of technology. The first generation would refer to the initial analog signal. The second generation was when phones switched fom analog signal to digital. Today 3G would be a phone recieving email, downloading, and web browsing. 4G focus on speed, have WiFi, live broadcasting, mobile television and much more. Some 4G carriers are Verizon,T-mobile,Towerstream and Sprint, but Sprint doesn't offer true 4G service. Sprint technically falls under pre-4G.
