There is a basic difference between 3g and 4g. 3g runs from 1Mbp to 3Mbps, which allows your phone to transfer 125,000 bytes per second or 1 million bits per second. 4g runs from 10Mbps to 100Mbps, which will allow you to download songs in matter of seconds. Many cell phone companies have supposedly moved from 3g to 4g such as Verizon, T-mobile, and sprint yet they truly havent besides sprint with two 4g phones that are marked at 10 times the amount of 3g only in major cities.
