Difference between 3G and 4G? Well, the most significant advantage is speed. 4G can be up to ten times faster than 3G ranging from 3 megabits per second to 6Mbps. 4G is also more energy efficient. 4G sites are about a quarter to half the size of a 3G site. 4G sites are five times more energy effecient. Unfortunately, Verizon is the only company with sufficient 4G capability. T-Mobile, AT&T, and TELUS do have 4G but it doesn't work any different than their 3G capability.
