Youtube pretty much redesigned their hompage for better and organized look. To some people they didn't like what youtube did because they were all used to the first one and for some people its hard adjusting and be used to their new look. For some people found it useful because they can easily organize and cuztomize their videos. In the new face of youtube you can browse anything that you like to watch. It could also put you on your Google+ account and Facebook account to see whats new on your news feed.
