Since earbuds have become so popular hearing loss has become a big concern for everybody that uses them. The president of Asius Technolgies, Stephen Ambrose was determined to create a set of headpones that would protect the wearer's ears while not affecting the sound quality. What happens with normal headphones is pressure builds in the ear and because it is sealed the pressure has nowhere to go except through the ear. So essentially Ambrose's design creates another "eardrum" that will absorb the pressure created by the sound. So our generation will hopefully not be deaf due to these new innovations.
