The Sustainiac pickup is designed to give the user unlimited sustain on any fret, or string for that matter on the guitar it is installed in. The pickup also features 2 switches, (the ON/OFF switch and the NORMAL/MIX/FUNDAMENTAL switch). When the on switch is flipped on, the pickup creates a magnetic force when the 1st pickup located on the bridge port, (must be high output or of greater value) releases its power on a string, giving the note span unlimited sustain. when the NMF switch is flipped to MIX mode, the note and/or string is outputted as a 5th harmonic ( 5th of a full natural harmonic). When in FUNDAMENTAL mode, the note and/or string is outputted as a full natural harmonic, everyone knows as the "high pitch squeals".
