Fujitsu boasts that their latest project the K supercomputer is the fastest in the world and will be capable of processing 10 petaflops by 2012. Later this year in Seattle the company will prove to the world why this monster of a machine deserves to be known as the fastest supercomputer there is. Fujitsu claims the machine has a top speed of about 10.51! This supercomputer is a breaking development in technological advances that may lead to developments in computers and other technology that we use everyday. If that wasn't enough if anyone wanted a computer like this it would cost you 10 million dollars in electricity a year to run it!
