If you think about a rat and a robot mixed together, you are thinking the real thing. From Tel Aviv University, a team of scientists have found a way to restore motor function in rodents, just like a robot having motor function but has rat traits! The process of this is still early but the goal is to develop implants for long-term disabilities. The team has built a cerebullum and installed it in the rodent that they anesthetized. Pretty soon the team taught the chip to make the rat blink when a specific sound played. Rat-bound innovations are on the high rise. At the University of California, they constructed an artificial memory and and there is also the Tokyo Brain car. So lets face it, rats are our future!
