New Jersey hospital to add 2.1 megawatts of solar

St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey is currently installing a 2.1 megawatt solar energy system consisting of  two rooftop installations, three parking lots with solar carports, and a solar carport on the roof of a parking garage.
There will be 10,000 solar cells provided by Canadian Solar and will be constructed by the Sun Farm Network.
Canadian Solar has also been involved in building a 500 megawatt power plant in China approximately 250 times the size of this project.
The project is expected to cost 9 million dollars but is a small price to pay at an attempt to help save our planet.
