After September 11, 2001 the scare of another bomb attack was at an all time high. Jobs were in high demand for drone pilots, ground-robot wrangler, bomb hunters and other military civilian specialties.
The usage of ground robots increased after the attack. The void of another attack has caused an increase in the amount of bomb detecting robot mechanisms.
An army attached a bomb to the ground robot to serve as a robot suicide-bomber. The usage of more robots in common warfare may noe be a common occurance. Warplanes are used as back up more frequently to coordinate with military personel. They serve to give insight of the personel's whereabouts and the actions that are occuring.
